Dream Job Compertion

This week room 14 was doing a dream job competition. We had to think about what our dream job would be. My dream job was a dinosaur keeper.

The School Pool

I think we should keep the school pool because on hot days we will need a swim. Also I think we should keep the school so we can learn to swim.

Speech Finals

Two weeks ago I did the speech finals with some others from the middle and senior syndicate. My speech was about Tuataras. This was my first time in the speech finals.  I didn't get a place but I got a certificate.

fruit kebabs

Last term we made fruit kebabs.What we had to do first was to get the kebab sticks and then thread the fruit on.The thing i enjoyed was eating them.

my habitat box

A habitat box is a shoebox that we decorate with animals and grass and water.The animals of the big five is
leopard,african elephant, african lion ,cape buffalo, and the white rhino.The hardest part of my habitat was doing the sky because you had to glue the sky on the back with the glue gun which meant you could of got in burnt. The thing I am most proud of is the crocodile in the river because I like crocodiles.

  

Production 2015

last week vardon school had a production. I am in the Africa group. We dance to two songs, the gumboot dance and wimoweh.The thing that I enjoy is the gumboot dance because I was the leader. The suggestion for the next production is to do a animal one.I liked the Philippines because of the Shadow pitchers.

In the production I am in the South African group. I am the lead gumboot caller and I am also a rhino. I am looking forward for doing the gumboot dance.

Seven Sharp Interview Last Wednesday

Last Wednesday we got interviewed by seven sharp about our book called ''DON T MESS WITH THESE KIDS'' and the author Doug Wilson.I like getting the book that Doug Wilson write for us.Their might be a second book about us.

At  1,30 we get a interview from seven sharp.Doug Wilson has wrote Tom Hassler books.Doug Wilson made a book for room 14 called "Don't Mess With These Kids"that is about a new government going to take over the country.I'm most looking forward to is being on T,V because I want to be on T,V.

Room 14 have built a field of remembrance that's by the flag pole . We had to make some crosses first. We got to put name and codes on them.We did this because its almost ANZAC day and to remember the brave soldiers in WW!.
